The purpose of this wiki is to give some advice for the 6th graders that are coming to Holicong Middle School. I’m not trying to scare you with the following information; I am just telling the truth about Holicong Middle School. 
I am Joshua Michael Kovacs, and I am currently a ninth grade student at Holicong Middle School. This is a warm, safe, environment where everyone wants to be your friend. The teachers want to give you hands on experiences when you become involved in their classrooms. 
 
The Basics 
 
School colors: Dartmouth green, and metallic gold

Grade Levels:7-9 
Number of students: 1200 students

Adjusting to 5-7 Different Teachers/ Classes a Day 
 
Adjusting to there personalities: There is a large variety of teacher. Some of them you will hate, and some of them you will like. Some of them are crazy and fun, and some are dull and boring. Guaranteed you will fall asleep in one of your classes throughout the school year. 
How to keep track of your assignments: The way to keep track of your homework is to write all of it in your agenda book. But if you forget you can go on their teacher sites where they post the homework. 
How to not lose your stuff: The best way to keep your stuff safe is to keep it in your locker, but personally I find it better to have everything on you at all times. There are some good kids, and some are bad and we don’t know what they are capable of. 
 
Homework Tips and Skill Advice 
 
To succeed in this middle school academically is to write down all of your assignments in your agenda book. Also make sure that when a teacher says to study the material that you study the material. If you are struggling make sure that you ask your teacher for help. 
I use the teacher sites whenever I forget to write down my homework. Also if I miss a day then I refer to these sites. A way to keep track of your grades is to use the brand new parent portal. If you don’t feel like waiting for your teacher to hand back assignments that you have completed, then just take a glance at your personal account.
